Ever since completing my folio on the honey bee at uni a few years ago I have been fascinated by these wonderful creatures.

Having only recently returned from holidaying in Perth and surrounding areas I was blown away with the sumptuous amount of wildflowers on view so early in the season.
Needless to say hubby and I returned with our fair share of imagery that endeavoured to capture some of the beauty.
However while the WA wildflowers are famous, closer to home the spectacular indigenous flora is equally stunning. On one afternoon walk I took photographs of some of Central Victorian wild flora.

There are so many wonderful images available to us on the web that I don’t usually recommend any as I would be on this topic all day.
However the above page is a definite must see for lovers of the insect world and fine photography, this artist has the skill of a fine practitioner and the patience of a saint!
