Thanks to WRES for rescuing this Tawny Frogmouth and growing him ready for release. Neil brought him around tonight on dusk to release him back where he was born. How lovely and great thank you to all at WRES.

These lovely birds are quite tolerant of me and my camera, although I do not annoy them much. Fine art prints are available from me for purchase for all nature lovers

We were privileged to witness a pair of Tawny Frogmouths for a period of 3 months as they prepared to start a new family. From the first pics taken on the 19th August 2012 to the last ones (27th November 2012) before the family moved on we enjoyed witnessing and listening to these lovely birds.Continue reading “Tawny Timeline”
