Last year I discovered room boxes and created my first one. I was intrigued with the concept of miniature art and wanted to create more. It has taken me many months but finally I’m getting back into it, having purchased secondhand a dolls house which while it’s not 1/12th scale I will convert it toContinue reading “Miniature art 2021”
A friend many years ago gave me a pot of these lovely lillies. Every year they produce these gorgeous blooms, never needing much help to do so. I think of my friend whenever these bloom even though we don’t see each other as much as we should.
Just got word that my exhibition ‘Imagining Mum’ at Mildura Arts Centre has been extended for one more week. So if thought you had missed out you have until Sunday 6th July to visit.
Subject: Last weeks to see Sharon’s latest exhibition Hi Folks, Hope you have all survived the heat wave over the past few weeks, This is just a reminder for those of you who wish to see Sharon’s latest exhibition at the Bendigo Pottery at Epsom here in Bendigo. With the tremendous work by Bill and co-owner of the Pottery Sally Thomson, my exhibition, Microcosm, is installed. I hope you get the time to go along and view this latest work. I know I have enjoyed tremendously putting it together.
Only a few days to go before ‘Microcosm’ is installed at the iconic Bendigo Pottery. We have framed all the images and I look forward to feedback from people once they see them. The images have been created from found objects from our place in Bendigo. I use a combination of traditional digital photography asContinue reading “Microcosm almost there…”
Mmm I am feeling pretty brave putting this pic. on line as I am not too sure about seeing just how much I have changed. As Bill said, the camera does not lie…(or at least not in this case!)
Hand Coloured Digital Photograms…(c) 2013 Sharon Greenaway. I am delving into digital photograms, a technique I have been working on, on and off, since 2008 when I was inspired to try this after working in the wet lab at university. At university we worked on creating photograms (taking a picture without using a camera) inContinue reading “Toyota Emerging Artists Exhibition opening…”
