First Poncho

First Poncho, just in time for autumn

Inspired by my recent trip to the Paris end of Collins Street I finished sewing my dark navy poncho today.

Originally the design was to include some of my floral silk fabric.

However struggling with how to blend the two fabrics in a pleasing way, I decided to make the poncho with the wool blend only.

So glad I did as it fits well and will go with a range of my scarf designs, not being limited to the one colour.

Wool blend, dark navy Poncho works beautifully with my Silk crepe de chine (Common Fringe Myrtle) scarf.

We are pleased to announce our war memorial images from Bendigo, Mount Alexander and Loddon Shire are now on permanent exhibition at the Bendigo Soldiers War Memorial Museum, Pall Mall, Bendigo.
