I am pleased to announce that I have been chosen to exhibit in a current show at the old auction house in Kyneton.

Of Earth features work by three Artists’ response to the theme.

Lady bugs busy busy busy

Last year I found a ladybugs nest and this year I have found lots of them busy working away at keeping the sap sucking nasties in control on my rose.

Never seen so many in action before.

Busy few months

I have not posted here for some time and thought it best to keep my records up to date.

Last month was a busy time balancing fighting off a dose of the flu or cold or whatever that, like many people. knocked me out a bit, with the preparation of work for the annual Bendigo native plant show.

The show was a busy couple of days, so much so we forgot to photograph our site! It was wonderful meeting so many people and talking about the native flora of our region as well as how my work serves to highlight it. Plus I sold quite a bit of art which was lovely.

October sees me preparing for the Mandurang Valley Artist’s Trail where I am guest exhibitor at the Spring Gully General store. I have several works on paper, including hand coloured photographs, ready for display ( and sale) as well as wearable artworks…bump in is later on later.

Next month will include a stall at the popular annual Bendigo Zonta pre Christmas fair, an exhibition in Kyneton and the launch of a all female group show which I have been organising since April.

Plus giving another class in brooch thread colouring at BUDA Castlemaine!
