Kinder Visit

On Monday I had the pleasure of meeting some of the kinder children at Annie Galvin childcare centre in Bendigo.
We talked a little about what it is like to be an author and then I read from my book The Puppet Show, with special guests the big bad wolf and one of the little pigs.
Dr Jelly Belly made an entrance and then we ended with one of my poems that will be published next year.
It was a lovely morning and I enjoyed watching the children create some lovely paintings using some characters from my talk.
Thank you Madeline Roberts for inviting me and to Carly Bell for the photographs.

Kinder Talk

While preparing for a talk with Kinder children for next week, I am going through my writing for children. I have forgotten just how much I have written over the last 15 years and also exactly where and when my work has been published.

Dr Jelly Belly is one such story that I am particularly fond.
