July Artist in Residence

In July I was invited to be the Artist In Residence at the Strathfieldsaye Art Show.

Held at the local Primary School it was a great opportunity to meet art appreciators both young and more mature.

The work I donated to the school featured our local native flora and asked the question what would a vegan dragon eat. The school children were enthusiastic with their response guided by their art teacher.

Here are some images of me meeting art lovers and also working on an embroidered piece that I turned into a brooch.

  Thanks Pam, It was fun, not as busy as I thought but it was good to walk go people and see what they were interested in. My handmade paper was a hit.
