Usually I don’t time myself while working, which I should because people often ask how long did this piece take to create?
Today I did…at 11 am I began a new female form for my solo exhibition next year. First step is a good thick layer of papier mache using newspaper.
I was tired after it and any wonder, it was 1 pm! I had no idea it would take me so long!
And that is only the beginning, when it is dry it may need another layer, if not then out comes my hand made flora infused paper to be moulded on.
