Transience, a well thought art theme

In 2016 I shared the Living Arts Space at the Bendigo Information centre with two other artists Mari Basile and Lyn Cole.

Our theme was The Transient Landscape.

I realise now that this theme has never really left my body of work.

It has evolved to include the Transience of human existence. Brought to the fore with my challenges over the last 19 months or so with Myeloma.

Working on my latest paper bush mannequin made me realise this, asking myself does it represent evolving from the earth or is it representing returning to it?

Many thanks to hubby Bill Greenaway for continuing to capture me at work.
