Thank you for this lively vein of glorious ore! And in Bendigo the majority of this fine display is the blossom of black wattle, unlike the plague of the invasive cootamundra (Acacia baileyana) we have here!

We also timed our visit earlier this month to coincide with the Whirrakee wattle over Eaglehawk way, such a dainty wattle endemic to this region.
