Paris in Bendigo

Today my daughter and I went to see the latest exhibit at the Bendigo Art Gallery.

Featuring moments in time of Paris from 1880 – 1925, the exhibit walks us through places of Paris using paintings, photographs and even film.

Gorgeous women’s’ fashion is dotted throughout the numerous gallery rooms.

Audio accompaniment in rooms added to the atmosphere.

I enjoyed not having to jostle through crowds in order to get up close to many of the delightful artworks.

There is much time take in and I am glad I photographed pieces that took my eye, giving me time to enjoy them at home.

When you go I suggest try to get a quiet time and allow at least 90 minutes to wander.

Here are work in progress shots for the Fan Boutique, circa Art Nouveau Paris.

It took around 2 months of research and creating to complete.
