It all starts with a photograph
Aged 17, Andrew Brown has been an avid collector of many things, especially cameras and watches since he was a baby.
His love of collecting is somewhat inherited from his father, an avid collector also, however Andrew’s passion and knowledge of his collection is impressive and very sincere. He repairs his own watches and lovingly cares for his cameras, many of which have been either handed down to him from his family or have been given to him by people, some total strangers, who want to see these timeless artifacts go to someone who will appreciate them. I took these pics at his home, where he has an old writing bureau for his watchmaking, and also at his family kitchen table, where he showed me some of his favourite cameras, incl, an old spy camera and a polaroid that belonged to a chap who served in Vietnam.
