Hazel Edwards writes for all ages but is best known for There’s a Hippopotamus on Our Roof Eating Cake and Writing a Non Boring Family History.

Geoff Brown – Monday August 15, 7-9pm
Geoff Brown was raised in Melbourne’s gritty western suburbs and is a trained nurse. He writes fiction untied to any genre and is the author of Boneyard Smack, Bubba wants YOU!, Insurrection and Santa Akbar! (Tasmaniac Publications 2010). He is the current VP of the Australian Horror Writers Association. Longer works are forthcoming, but he says he can only write so fast. Come aboard for a roller coaster night.

Darren Brealey is the author of several plays, short film scripts, monologues and short stories. Darren’s play, The Meeting Place, was produced during the Melbourne Fringe Festival, and it was a great success. This workshop is a must for those wanting to learn the art of creating a plot and developing a character as well as script writing.
