Sunday 26th November 2017 is International Museum Stores Day.
Bendigo Tramways and the Central Deborah Gold Mine in Bendigo are joining in the celebrations!
As well as offering 10% discount off all their gifts (just in time for Christmas giving) the museums have asked local makers to come along and help with the fun.
I will be at the Central Deborah Gold Mine from 9:30 am and would love to meet you and talk about how I create my wearable art pieces as well as the inspiration behind them.
See the photos for more information, and I look forward to meeting with you on Sunday.
They are also available directly from me, and if you would like to stock these in your retail space please get in touch. (r.r.p. $12.95 each)
Secondly I have been researching ways to bring my flora to you printed on gorgeous silk crepe de chine. Printed in Melbourne for me, these small square SILK scarves are now ready to sell. If you would like to buy one please get in touch.
Equally I am happy to discuss stocking in suitable retail spaces. (r.r.p. $60)
The lovely Karen and Robert at the Strathfieldsaye Post Office are now selling my scarves and small zipper purses. These items have been wrapped in quality cellophane and are ready to post to loved ones. Each features my photographs of locally sourced flora, many taken in situ (although I must admit to buying some from local nurseries in order to enjoy the light and space of my specially set up studio!)
MAINLY TAKEN IN SITU THESE FLORAS ARE NATIVE TO AUSTRALIA AND MANY ARE NATIVE PARTICULARLY TO CENTRAL VICTORIAAnd of course my Art scarves, purses, cards and gifts can also be found for sale at the Bendigo Tramways Depot.
