Having read about a forthcoming show of art brooches I have been I inspired to create a limited number of my own brooches using some Imagining Mum photographs.

3 more days before bump in time
No matter how many exhibitions I have been involved in I am always nervous before Bump In day…always seems to be lots of last minute things to do…write up and then print catalogue/artist statement,frame the poems I am using this time,print posters, print photograph for winner of the poem competition I ran with the BWC…get the butterflies to settle down!!
So ‘Imagining Mum’ opens at the Capital officially on 1st April, so hope you can get along to see it. I would love to know how the images bring memories to you, or if they don’t why not.
Grace Kelly exhibit
Went to the Grace Kelly exhibition at the Bendigo art gallery today with friends. What a great show, exquisite garments beautifully presented and a lovely video/movie. I don’t think there was one garment that I didn’t like, what an era the late princess represented.
I would recommend this show to anyone who love Hollywood, fairy tales and family.
