Visit to the big smoke – Melbourne

I don’t visit Melbourne often so yesterday (20/12/2023) was a lovely day to catch up with our son, visit the NGV Triennale (disappointing ) and see my latest works in the Q.V.W.C. ‘Women Now’ exhibition.

As well there were some extras on in the city for the kids and big kids at heart.

Female Form (handmade)

This morning I was thrilled to confirm that my hand made paper Female Form has sold at the QVWC WOMEN NOW current exhibition in Melbourne/Naarm.

Female Form, handmade paper mache mannequin, infused with native flora

It sold on the opening night which I was unfortunately unable to attend.

This exhibition features a variety of works from female artists who were chosen to exhibit a piece/pieces that responded to the theme of Women now.

I have one more piece at the show:

“This is me after cancer diagnosis,” Linen piece.

The exhibition runs until January 2024.

I hope you get to see it all. I know I do.
