We went to the vintage fair at Tarnagulla Victoria today, Sunday 8/9/2024.
It was obvious a lot of effort had been put into the event by local townspeople; from the quantity and quality of photographs on display in the local hall through to the stall holders selling vintage items, devonshire tea being served as well as the events in the town square.
I missed the pinnie parade (pinnies are a nickname for aprons) which given my own use and love of them meant a disappointment. However the vintage fashion parade was fun with a lot of locals getting involved.
There was also later on a beard competition which we missed, but from a far it looked like fun.
I had photographed the old church facade before but couldn’t help capturing it again.
Here are some pics of the event, condensed for ease of uploading. If you see any you would like a better view of let me know.
