Beating 41.3 degrees celsius

This morning when I heard the familiar buzz of our native blue banded bees on the lavender under the kitchen window, I grabbed my camera.

With my trusty dslr Nikon and Tamron 90 mm f2.8 macro lens, I hoped to get another shot of these fast, elusive bees.

There were two busy getting their tucker before the heat of today descended.

Here is my result, while not perfect, I am quite happy with them.
