For a paltry $5 to cover the feed bill, people can witness a flock of spoilt pelicans being hand fed daily at 5pm off the jetty at Kingscote. There are other shore birds who come in to take some of the spoils, taking their life into their own feet as pelicans, John explains, have been known to swallow one whole.
