Celebration of Barbie turning 50!
During the current Victorian school holidays mothers and daughters and friends along with fathers and daughters (largely) are trouping along in their hundreds (perhaps thousands eventually) to celebrate the turning of 50 for this iconic doll.

I wrote a review of this shop 6 months ago and thought it time to write up a fuller report on this unique shop after I recently visited it and found a little treasure. The treasure for me was a book on crochet patterns called Super Cute Crochet by Nicki Trench. (see the crochet forum http://www.ourpatch.com.au/australia/forums/interests-crafts-hobbies/topics/440-quirky-crochet-patterns?page=1 ) If you are a crocheter you will know how frustrating it can be when you look for crochet books and only find either books on knitting, or books that say they have both knitting and crochet patterns to find there are hardly any decent crochet ones.
Getting spoilt with the offer of brekkie in bed last Sunday, I asked hubby for my favourite – ham, cheese and an egg.
