What if?

First large embroidery piece

As you may know I create small hand embroidered brooches that feature some of our local native flora.

Late last year I decided to expand my embroidery skills by tackling a largish piece, CUSP (from my Bendigo Suburban Flora range).

It has been an interesting time, as I learnt a few more stitches as well as how to undo mistakes!

Well at long last the piece is finished. I am not sure whether to frame it as a whole as the grevillea is a little strange, or to cut it into two or three pieces and frame them.

I would appreciate your feedback.

Here it is…

MAINLY TAKEN IN SITU THESE FLORAS ARE NATIVE TO AUSTRALIA AND MANY ARE NATIVE PARTICULARLY TO CENTRAL VICTORIA
